Becoming a mom has been the most rewarding and challenging experience of my life.  Even with a WFH job and a family member available to watch my daughter in-home during work hours, my first year of motherhood was overwhelming and exhausting.  Being a mother, wife, and career woman at once left me feeling that I wasn't giving any one role its due attention.

I traded my nine-to-five for a go at establishing my own business:  Mountain Saplings Academy.  By turning my passion for raising a happy and vibrant human into my work, I have freed up enough energy to not only relish my daughter's childhood but also offer other families the support they need in order to thrive.  MSA provides a space where children are seen, honored, and nurtured without distraction, so that their caregivers can take time to address the competing priorities in their lives with the comfort of knowing that their little ones are being looked after with the utmost care and attention.

Hi, I'm Hannah!  As the oldest of five children, caring for and helping with kids has always been a natural part of my life.  I spent pretty much all of my teen years babysitting and developed a love for it!  When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, attending concerts, baking, and getting lost in a good book.

Our Helpers

Since MSA is a place where children lead their own learning, we think of ourselves as the children's helpers rather than teachers.
